The Balti Dish

‘Balti’ is a style of cooking originating from Kashmir.

balti1a

It consists of tender, succulent pieces of chicken, lamb, mince or prawns. Marinated in sauce and individually cooked in the Balti dish with additional spices, including chopped coriander leaves. This combination makes a very different and exciting alternative to any other Eastern cooking. Balti can be eaten with delicious fluffy nan bread, cooked in the Tandoor oven, or alternatively with one of our varieties of rice. As well as chicken, lamb, mince or prawn, many Balti’s can be made from vegetable combinations, enabling us to offer a wide selection of vegetarian dishes. We offer you the most extensive range of Balti dishes in Burton on Trent and indeed in Staffordshire
